CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL (December 15, 2017) – Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda are transitioning its Senior Circle from a paid membership program to a free Senior Circle program, beginning in 2018.
“We’re committed to helping older adults in our community live healthy, active lifestyles,” said Tim Cerullo, Market CEO for Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. “We’re excited to carry on this mission by transitioning to a free Senior Circle program so that even more seniors will have access to education and activities.”
The free membership program will continue to focus on supporting adults age 50 and older. Linda Howard, Advisor, said the hospital’s future Senior Circle program will include most of the activities and events members regularly enjoy:
- Physician-led education talks
- Social and fitness activities
- Health fairs and screenings
- Local merchant discount program
- Insurance counseling
- Free faxing and copying
- Support groups
- Volunteer opportunities
- Group travel excursions
- Monthly luncheons
Information about Senior Circle events are posted here. Members also receive a bi-monthly newsletter and calendar of events, and periodic email event reminders.
