Thanks to the strength and resilience of our provider team, ShorePoint Health is providing safe, quality healthcare services to residents of Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties as they rebuild following Hurricane Ian. Following are the clinical resources available as of Thursday, October 6, 2022.
ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte
The hospital is open and fully operational, offering emergency, inpatient, and surgical care for local residents. Specialty services include elective cardiac catheterization and elective surgery. Emergency room patients are no longer experiencing unusually long wait times.
ShorePoint Health Punta Gorda
ShorePoint Health Punta Gorda is open and fully operational for emergency and inpatient services and limited surgeries. Emergency room patients are no longer experiencing unusually long wait times.
Venice HealthPark
Outpatient surgery and wound care services are available.
ShorePoint Medical Group
Physician practices are reopening as facilities are restored and providers return. The following locations are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

ShorePoint Health is working to re-establish additional medical services in the community, including working with local physicians to re-open their practices, which in many cases requires relocation of services due to hurricane damage. We will continue to provide updates as more services become available.
